2018 Season Kicks Off

Hamersley Rovers Premier Amateur Squad is into it's 5th week of preseason with First Team Coach Brad Brooks looking to build from 2017 where he took over midway through the season and guided the club away from the relegation spots.

Numbers are very strong and fitness training has been gruelling but the players are responding well and benefitting from the hard work.

The First Team played it's first game against Subiaco in the Amateur Night Series. New signing Cosimo scoring from 35 yeards in the first 5 minutes. Subiaco equalized soon after before Matty Emery headed in from a corner to lead 2-1. Rovers saw out the game from that point to secure a solid win.

The reserves had it's first friendly debuting 9 new players and going down 5-2 against Stirling Panthers.

Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday from 6.45pm at Carine Open Space. New players are always welcome.
